MHFK is a local and community-driven program committed to providing a safe “heaven” for at-risk children ages K-12th grade. Participants enrolled in the program receive homework assistance and reading, recreational and faith-based activities, meals/snacks and access to clothes/hygiene items. Every child qualifies to attend the program once a week year-round and special annual family events such as a Back2School Bash and Christmas Party.
Enrollment includes interview with parent/guardian, student and MHFK staff to access eligibility, enrollment availability, academic assessment, transportation and any other pertinent information. Please download the applications below or contact your child’s school resource center (FRYSC). Call us to set-up an appointment for your interview and bring completed forms. All children must attend with a parent in order to enroll.
